Horse training & farm care
25+ years of patient, hands-on horsemanship
Behavioral issues, foundational training, stall service, and farm sitting — for horses, sheep, chickens, cats, and dogs. A calm approach that builds trust, one animal at a time.
What we offer
Services built around trust
Every animal is different. Our work starts with listening — then building a calm, consistent plan.
Behavioral issues
Specialized, patient work with anxious, reactive, or misunderstood horses. We rebuild confidence through clear boundaries and consistent handling.
Training
Groundwork, foundational riding, and manners for every age and stage. Lessons are paced to the horse and rider, never forced.
Stall service
Daily feeding, turnout, stall cleaning, and grooming when you need a reliable extra pair of hands at your barn.
Farm sitting
Overnight or multi-day care for horses, sheep, chickens, cats, and dogs while you’re away. Animals stay calm in familiar surroundings.
About the trainer
Decades of quiet expertise
With more than 25 years working with horses, I’ve learned that the best training happens when the horse feels safe. Whether it’s a green colt, a rescue with a rough past, or a horse that just needs a refresher, the approach is the same: patience, consistency, and respect.
Over the years the work has expanded to the whole farm — sheep, chickens, barn cats, and working dogs all have their own personalities and needs. I treat them as individuals, not checkboxes.

Farm care
More than horses
A farm is a community of animals. When you’re away or need extra help, every creature deserves calm, capable attention.
Horses
Training, groundwork, and confidence building.
Sheep
Gentle handling, feeding, and pasture care.
Chickens
Coop check, feed, water, and egg collection.
Cats
Barn cats and house cats, fed and checked on.
Dogs
Farm dogs exercised, fed, and kept company.
Kind words
From the barn
I thought my mare was beyond help. Three months later she’s the calmest horse on our property. The difference is night and day.
Leaving the farm for a week used to stress me out. Now I relax because I know every animal — horses, sheep, chickens, the dog — is in great hands.
Patient, knowledgeable, and never judgmental. My young gelding came back with manners I didn’t think possible.
